Calls back the last person you tried to reach you.
To use Auto Recall:
1. Listen for the dial tone
2. Press *69
3. Listen to the recording to find out the time, date, and phone number of the last call.
4. To re-dial immediately, press 1, and wait for an answer. (if you do not want to return the call, simply hang up.)
To De-activate Auto Recall:
1. Listen for the dial tone.
2. Press *89
3. When you hear the recording, hang up.
NOTE: If you use Auto Recall to return a toll call, you will be charged for a toll call. This service does not work with certain cordless or novelty telephone models.
Call Forwarding/All Calls
Call Forwarding/All Calls automatically transfers your incoming calls to another phone of your choice. Now, you don’t have to miss important calls when you’re away from your phone.
Use Call Forwarding/All Calls
1. Listen for the dial tone.
2. Press *72
3. Wait for another dial tone and dial the number to which you are forwarding your calls.
4. If someone answers at the forwarded number, Call Forwarding/All Calls is automatically activated; if there is no answer or the line is busy, hang up and repeat the steps above within two minutes. Two beeps will indicate the service is activated.
Turn Off Call Forwarding/All Calls
1. Listen for the dial tone.
2. Press *73
3. Two beeps indicate the feature is deactivated.
Change your Call Forwarding/All Calls Number
1. Follow the steps for “Turn off Call Forwarding/All Calls” listed above.
2. Next, follow the steps under “To Use Call Forwarding/All Calls: listed above and simply input the new forwarding number.
Initial Set Up
1. Dial 570-853-1245 (This is the Voice Mail Access number)
2. When prompted, enter initial password (0000) and then #.
3. Follow prompts.
Access Your Voicemail
From the phone subscribed to the service:
1. Dial 570-853-1245
From a different phone:
1. Dial 570-853-1245
2. Press the * key.
3. Enter your 10-digit mailbox number (your telephone #)
4. Enter your password and then #.
Record Your Greeting
1. Access your voice mailbox.
2. Press 9 for the mailbox setup menu.
3. Press 1 for greeting options.
4. Press 2 to record your greeting.
5. Record your greeting and then press #.
6. Press 2 to keep your greeting.
To Record Multiple Greetings:
1. Press 9 for the mailbox setup menu.
2. Press 1 for greeting options.
3. Press 5 to select a greeting number.
NOTE: The system will play the recorded greeting for that number or will tell you there is no greeting recorded.
4. Press 2 to record a greeting for that selected number.
Change Your Password
1. Access your voice mailbox.
2. Press 9 for the mailbox setup menu.
3. Press 2 to change your password.
4. Enter your new password and then press #.
5. When prompted to verify the password, enter it again and then press #.
Helpful Password Hints:
• ONLY TELL YOUR FAMILY THE SECURITY CODE, IF NECESSARY.
• MAKE IT EASY TO REMEMBER, USE A NUMBER COMBINATION THAT YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH; SUCH AS AN ANNIVERSARY, BIRTHDATE, DIGITS IN YOUR TELEPHONE NUMBER OR SPELL A WORD ON YOUR KEYPAD.
Retrieve Messages
1. Access your mailbox.
2. Your first new message may play immediately. If not, press 1 to listen to your messages. You will hear the announcement “You have X new messages and X saved messages.”
3. Press 1 to listen to new messages.
4. Press 2 to listen to saved messages.
5. Press 3 to delete the message and play the next.
When Retrieving Messages, You Can:
• Press 1 to play the message again
• Press to save the message and play the next
• Press 3 to delete the message and play the next
• Press 4 to save the message as new
• Press 5 to reply to the message *
• Press 6 to forward the message to another mailbox *
• Press 7 to skip backward in the message
• Press 8 to pause the message
• Press 9 to skip forward in the message
*Voice mail package must be set to allow this capability.
NOTICE: WHEN YOU HAVE NEW MESSAGES, YOUR DIALTONE WILL STUTTER. YOU WILL HEAR WHAT SOUNDS LIKE A BUSY TONE, BUT IT IS ACTUALLY CALLED “STUTTER DIALTONE”. YOU CAN STILL DIAL OUT AND RECEIVE CALLS WHEN STUTTER DIAL TONE IS ACTIVE.
